On Sunday, June 25, hundreds of cyclists will take to the Caledon Hills for Ride Don’t Hide, a community bike ride and fundraiser for the Canadian Mental Health Association Peel Dufferin. Over 300 cyclists and families are expected to tackle 4 picturesque cycling routes in Caledon to raise awareness, fight stigma, and support CMHA Peel Dufferin’s youth mental health and awareness programs.
Date: Sunday, June 25, 2017
Location: All routes will leave from the Lloyd Wilson Centennial Arena (15551 McLaughlin Road, Inglewood, ON L7C 1J5). The closest major intersection is McLaughlin Road and Olde Base Line Road.
The old adage, the more the merrier, has never been more true than at Ride Don’t Hide! Invite your friends, family, and colleagues to register and ride alongside you for this amazing community bike ride. We promise the more people you bring, the more fun you’ll have!
Routes and maps: Ride along on one of our four scenic routes throughout the Caledon Hills designed to accommodate cyclists of all skill levels. Take a look at the GPS maps of our routes and view important information such as elevation, satellite imagery and more.
Food and beverages: Breakfast and lunch are generously provided by Four Corners Bakery in Caledon.
Entertainment: Fitness expert, Christina Tonello of CTX Fitness, will guide cyclists through a group warm-up and stretching exercises to help prepare you for a fun and injury-free ride. Upon your return you will get to enjoy stretching with Creative Soul Yoga and a BBQ lunch. Children’s entertainment is also available courtesy of the Mississauga Steelheads community event team.
Ride Don’t Hide is a volunteer-led event and wouldn’t be possible without the amazing help from community members, friends and family. We are always looking for more people to get involved and help us out on the event day!
