On June 24, 2018 – Ride Don’t Hide


RDH2018-SaveTheDate-postcard-1-side-web-1Ride Don’t Hide is an annual community bike ride which aims to raise funds to support families in BC, bringing awareness and breaking the stigma surrounding mental illness one pedal at a time.

Canadian Mental Health Association, Kamloops Branch actively works to promote mentally health people in a healthy society. CMHA Kamloops offers a variety of programs and services; Clubhouse Programs in Kamloops and Merritt, #TalkToday, Bounce Back, Mental Health First Aid, Emerald Centre co-ed homeless shelter, Winter Shelter, affordable housing for 55 plus and people with disabilities, safe suite for seniors 60 plus, and community educator.

Venue Start/Finish: Centennial Park Westsyde

Date: Sunday, June 24th, 2018

Cost: $35 youth (13-17) and $35 adults (18+)

Early Bird: Register before April 30 and pay $30 Children 12 years and under ride for free when accompanied with a registered rider!

Distances: 10km and 23km family fun ride: Enjoy a scenic bike ride from Centennial Park dike along rivers trail, a 5km walk or run, plus a 88km distance for the more serious cyclist. Enjoy this 88km scenic route as it winds through the beautiful country side to the McClure Ferry and back. Exclusive for 88km – Raise $300 or more in donations and receive a custom 88km Jersey.

Virtual Rider: (not cost) Fundraiser who want to support Ride Don’t Hide but will not be participating in the event.

This community event accommodates riders of all ages and abilities with three different rides to choose from including routes for kids and adults, beginner and intermediate riders, plus a walk or fun 5m. Register now and be the first to receive more information.
