Shoppers Drug Mart Ride Don’t Hide on June 26

We look forward to seeing you on Shoppers Drug Mart Ride Don’t Hide in 2016 – a community bike ride to create awareness about the importance of mental health and to raise funds for programs helping those who are dealing with mental illness. Register now for the Greater Vancouver Ride.

June 26th, 2016 Event Details

Where: Swangard Stadium, Central Park, Burnaby. Parking is available (360 spots) either at Boundary and 47th Avenue or Kingsway and Patterson. Getting there. The ride isn’t possible without the commitment of hundreds of volunteers. If you would like to volunteer please fill this RDH2016-VF-volunteer-application-fillable and send it to our Volunteer Coordinator.

When: June 26th, 2016

What time:

  • 7:00am – Event site opens for 60km riders
  • 8:00am – 60km ride begins
  • 8:30am – Site opens for 10km and 20km riders
  • 9:30am- 10km and 20km rides begin
  • 10:30am -on Site Activities (BBQ, entertainment, children activities, community resources)
  • 11:30am -12:00 noon  Awards & prizes!
  • 2:00pm – Event close

What: 10km, 20km or 60km routes – all scenic street rides throughout the Greater Vancouver area

 

* Final version of all routes will be available on the morning of June 26th, 2016

How much:

  • Regular Registration $45.00 May1st to June 22nd, 2016 including t-shirt
  • Final Registration $75.00, June 23rd to event morning at Swangard Stadium including t-shirt
  • Kids 12 and under are free (must be accompanied by a registered rider): T-shirt may be purchased for $12.00 each
  •  T-shirt sizing chart

Who: All ages and skill levels from beginner (10km), intermediate (20km) to advance (60km)

How:  All three routes start from Swangard Stadium, Burnaby, go through the streets of Vancouver and Richmond (60km only) and back to Swangard. Most portions of all all three rides follow established city bike routes.

Event Day:

  • On site bike mechanic support(pre-ride)
  • Bike valet services (post-ride). (bring a bike lock for pre-ride locking up)
  • Healthy breakfast
  • Post-ride BBQ
  • Live music and fun activities (post-ride)
  • The chance to win one of many exciting prizes!

Rider’s Package Pick Up

Riders are encouraged to pick up their rider’s package prior to event. The package includes: a moisture wicking shirt, bib and event information. Pick-up at any one of the following  CMHA locations:
